About me
My name is Yaz and I'm the founder of
Tiny Cupboard Creatives.
I'm a mama of 2 kids aged 9 and 7 and have been teaching for 18 years. For 10 years I taught art and English as an Additional Language (EAL) to new arrivals of mostly refugee background as well as doing stints as an artist in residence at our local kinder and after school Art Jam's at our local Primary School. I am super pumped to be offering bespoke art classes from my own studio and on Zoom, and sometimes I can even come to you!
I love when art and stories come together! I'm a creator at heart and a serial short course-er-er. Organic wood carving, community art classes, learning crochet, textile pattern design, sewing courses, watercolour classes are just a handful. I'm addicted. I love the idea of collaborating with other creatives and creative mamas.
