Artist, Yaz Gaté, uses visual story-telling that embodies her Filipino heritage and experiences of over-coming breast cancer. A personal journey from chaos to clarity using line, colour blocking and scale. DRAWING BOUNDARIES is a story of a mother’s fear, reflection, self-acceptance, and awakenings through bold black lines, botanics and playful palettes inspired by Filipino desserts.
