Calling all adults that have always wanted to learn how to sew, want help and a creative space to tackle a project, or simply want a couple hours of peaceful sewing!
Spend your evening sewing at your own pace with guidance and support from another sewing enthusiast and registered secondary teacher! BYO thrift flip, own project or an idea of what you want to make.
Important: remember to pre-wash your fabric if purchasing new fabric.
Who should join: All skill levels welcome, Lucy can show you the absolute basics to tackling zippers, using an overlocker, buttonholes etc!
Who’s Lucy?: All sessions will be hosted by Lucy, sewing enthusiast, small handmade business entrepreneur and registered secondary teacher. Lucy has sewing experience from her high school days, and self-taught ever since. She has a calming and supportive nature and can confidently adapt to your skill level and way of learning.

Can I bring my own machine?
Yes! If you want to learn how to use your own machine, bring it along.
Where can I find patterns?
Paper patterns from Spotlight, or Indie patterns online are great
I don’t know what fabric to buy
Find the recommended fabric for your pattern. Store staff can always help direct you too. If in doubt, reach out 😊

It truly is a cupboard! Not just a name. Very limited space for parents/carers - drop off and pick up of kids preferred.
Payments can be made via:
- MANUAL EFT transfer, instructions emailed (preferred method)
- PAYPAL full payment or via instalments
In the event of the student missing class due to illness, they can attend a REPLACEMENT class at an alternative time. Credits are not offered. In the event of LUCY cancelling class due to illness, credits will be offered.
